Which Internet Browser is the
Best These Days?
At the time of this review we find ourselves in the ever-evolving year of 2009. This year marks many changes. Gone is the age of tacky bluetooth headsets and gone are the days of the Internet Explorer "monopoly". These days, we as web surfers now have an option and a choice as to which vessels we use to navigate through CyberSpace, some being better than others. But which delivers the best, fastest and therefore optimal, browsing experience altogether? JustForPC has set out to clear the air on any doubt. Introducing the JustForPC Internet Browser Review.
There are many other alternatives to the standard IE. Google's Chrome is out, Mozilla Firefox 3.5.4 has been released, and Opera is making quite some noise in the browser scene with Opera 10 with Turbo. These are the top three browsers that PC users have been raving about. JustForPC has compared these three from a user standpoint to determine which delivers the best experience to the web surfer overall. We have personally used and tested all three and as you can see, the new version of Mozilla Firefox has taken the gold for reasons of pageload speed, plugins, and usability. Firefox has actually come a long way. In the past, it had problems with crashing, the clipboard (cut/paste) not working, window shaking, downloading files, and almost every other bug you could think of. But now, it seems Mozilla has got it together. Opera 10 came in a close second being just milliseconds slower than Firefox in the pages loaded for the test but has way less plugins and add-ons. One great feature of Opera is Turbo, which keeps the same load rate even if your Internet connection slows down. Google Chrome 3.0 has decent speed and an innovative UI, but overall, still needs work, especially in the security aspect.
In conclusion, we highly recommend Mozilla Firefox 3.5.4 because it is faster, more user friendly, most customizable, and safest of all three. Each program was thoroughly tested in different criteria. See how all three fared in comparison, with the chart provided below. You can read "Mozilla 3.5.4: The IE Killer", by JustForPC News for an in-depth dissection of the new Firefox. The others will be featured soon at JustForPC News. The main points we compared for the
review are as follows:
- Speed - Page Load Time, File Download Time, Flash Plugin Load (video), etc.
- Ease of Use
- User Friendly Interface, Navigation Ease, Bookmarking Pages and Favorites, etc.
-
Personalization - Availability of Add-ons/Plugins, Customization, Themes, Integration with Social Media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us), etc.
- Security -
How well does the browser protect against malware, phishing, worms, and internet viruses, etc.
Hope this helps you--JustForPC Reviews :-) |
